Done it the wrong way?

I met the ghost! Only I didn't have the dance! Maybe you can do the dance in the daytime and just go see the ghost at nighttime! I expected the ghost to just be 2 floating around randomly fireballs though. The fireballs here were just going up and down. Maybe those people were just dancing under that tree for no reason.
